Are bead necklaces astrologically valid?
Yes. A mala or strand of a rashi ratan is a traditional alternative to a ring, and is often recommended where a heavy weight is prescribed that would be impractical in a ring.
Can I get a custom length?
Yes. Tell us the length you want and we will string it to size — standard strands run 16 to 20 inches, with malas at 108 beads.
How should I care for a bead necklace?
Keep it away from perfume and hairspray, store it flat rather than hanging so the thread does not stretch, and have it restrung every few years with regular wear.
