Blue Topaz
About blue topaz
Blue Topaz is a natural topaz in two well-known shades: Sky Blue, a light and airy pale blue, and Swiss Blue, a vivid electric blue. It is worn for calm, clear communication and confidence, and is a popular affordable alternative to Aquamarine. Every stone here is natural, certified and priced per ratti.
Sky Blue vs Swiss Blue
Both start as near-colourless natural topaz and are colour-treated — a standard, permanent and universally accepted process in the trade. Sky Blue is the softer, paler tone; Swiss Blue is deeper and more intense. Choose by the shade you want to wear; both are equally natural topaz underneath.
Blue Topaz FAQ
Answers to the questions our customers ask us most
Is the colour permanent?
Yes. The treatment is stable and permanent under normal wear. It is stated on every certificate here rather than hidden.
Is it durable for a ring?
Topaz is hard at 8 on the Mohs scale but has perfect cleavage, meaning a sharp knock in the wrong direction can split it. A protective setting is sensible.
