Aquamarine
About aquamarine
Aquamarine (Beruj) is a natural beryl in a clear sea-blue to blue-green — the same mineral family as Emerald, but typically far cleaner. It is traditionally the sailor's stone of safe passage, and in Vedic practice it is associated with Shani (Saturn) and worn for calm, clear speech and steadiness under pressure. Every Beruj here is natural, certified and priced per ratti.
What decides Aquamarine value
Colour depth decides most of it — a deeper, more saturated blue (sometimes traded as Santa Maria colour) is markedly rarer than the pale blue-green that is common. Aquamarine is usually eye-clean, so visible inclusions reduce value. Most material is gently heated to remove a green cast, which is standard and stated on the certificate.
