Moonstone
About moonstone
Moonstone (Chandrakant Mani) is a natural feldspar showing adularescence — a soft blue-white glow that floats across the stone as it moves. It is the accepted substitute for Pearl (Moti) and is worn for Chandra (the Moon), associated with calm, emotional balance and restful sleep. Every Moonstone here is natural, certified and priced per ratti.
What decides Moonstone value
The sheen decides almost everything: a strong blue adularescence floating over a colourless, transparent body is the finest grade, while milky, white-sheen material is common and inexpensive. Cabochon cut and dome symmetry matter too, since a poorly oriented cut kills the glow entirely.
