GEMSTONE RING
About gemstone ring
Gemstone rings set with natural certified stones in silver, gold and panchdhatu — the traditional form in which a rashi ratan is worn. Every stone is government lab certified, and the setting is made so that the stone touches the skin, which Vedic practice considers essential for the stone to work.
Custom fitting
Bring us a certified stone or buy one from our loose gemstone collection and we will set it for you in the metal and design you want, at our Gurugram workshop. Ring sizing, open-back settings and panchdhatu work are all done in house.
Gemstone ring FAQ
Answers to the questions our customers ask us most
Which metal for which stone?
Broadly: gold or copper for Ruby and Red Coral, gold or panchdhatu for Yellow Sapphire, silver for Blue Sapphire, Pearl and Hessonite, and gold or silver for Emerald. Panchdhatu, an alloy of five metals, is the safe general-purpose choice.
Which finger?
Ring finger for Ruby and Red Coral, index finger for Yellow Sapphire, middle finger for Blue Sapphire, Hessonite and Cat's Eye, little finger for Emerald and Pearl — on the working hand.
Does the stone need to touch the skin?
In traditional practice, yes. Our settings are made open at the back for exactly that reason.
